 An Introduction to Electronics

Your days of playing with toy cars and action figures may be long over, but a man still needs some fun and that’s where electronics come in. Whether it’s a plasma T.V. or a DVD player, electronic devices are the center of today’s home entertainment systems. Electronics are how we stay in touch with family and friends in today’s society—computers, personal digital assistants and cell phones are common ways we depend on electronic devices to communicate. But you don’t have to be a computer geek to work these electronics—electronics aren’t only for high tech people. Today’s electronic devices are so simple to operate even a child can do it.

According to the scoop on the Internet, more and more of our electronics will become wireless. Wireless won't just be for phones, wireless electronics will be all over the house, offices and buildings. Just about everything will be electronics and wireless. There are many wireless standards in competition with each other.ZigBee, Z-Wave, HDMI, Wibree, GSM, CDMA,  and Bluetooth. Batteries to power electronic devices will become extinct, too. These wireless electronic devices will be able to generate their own power from sunlight, light and other sources of energy that are in the environment.  In the future, these wireless chips will be so small that they will require only the tiniest amount of energy, a flash of light, heat from the environment to become power plants so nifty and thrifty with the ability to renew energy over and over again.

Welcome to the new world of electronic portable power plants and so long to batteries, plugs, cords and other electronic parapharnelia used today!
